We are reaching out to you on behalf of the Malaysian Petrochemicals Association (MPA) and are excited to announce the upcoming "Video/Multimedia Competition for Malaysian University Students 2024," and we cordially invite Regal City College students to participate in this engaging and impactful event.
Competition Details:
- Theme: "Plastic is Valuable: Let’s Circulate Towards Sustainability"
- Objective: Addressing environmental challenges and promoting sustainable practices in line with the Malaysian Ministry of Natural Resources, Environment & Climate Change (NRECC) objectives.
- Event Launching: 22 March 2024
- Submission Deadline: 31 May 2024
- Prize Giving & Technical Seminar: 29 July 2024
Awards:
- Grand Prize : RM7000 with certificate
- 2nd Prize : RM4000 with certificate
- 3rd Prize : RM2000 with certificate
- 4th - 6th Prize : RM1000 with certificate.
- University with Most Entries Submitted: RM2000 with certificate.
This competition aims to stimulate creative ideas and effective proposals from students, focusing on minimizing/eradicating plastic pollution issues. By participating, your university can play a significant role in contributing to the Malaysian Ministry's efforts in raising awareness about sustainable plastic waste management, its impact on climate change, and fostering a sustainable plastic Circular Economy ecosystem.
The video/multimedia competition provides a platform for university students to showcase their innovative ideas, contributing to a culture of environmental consciousness among the youth and encouraging active participation in sustainability initiatives.
