This programme equips students with strong fundamentals and the practical knowledge and skills of planning and execution of events. The courses of the programme include preparing an event proposal, becoming familiar with the statutory obligations required to host an event and being able to critically evaluate whether an event is successful or not. Besides studying in the lecture rooms, the students will also learn how to apply the theories through practical. With increased regulations and the growth of government and corporate involvement in events, the environment becomes much more complex, forcing the event industry to emerge in its own right.
