As more and more organizations are moving towards Linux as a preferred platform, the demand for Linux administrators is increasing rapidly.
The course has been designed to provide in-depth knowledge of administrative tasks. The student will learn all the common tasks performed by an administrator on a network with Linux servers. This includes, user and object management, configuration of DHCP and DNS , file sharing, accessing the Internet, configuring the Apache Web server, backing up and restoring data, and monitoring system resources. It also covers configuration of firewalls to secure a Linux network, which is one of the most important tasks of an administrator.
