- The student here will learn management, its evolution, the various schools of management and the need for management. The student will learn the four tasks of management—Planning, Organizing, Leading and Controlling.
- The student will learn an overview of functional management—Marketing, Production, Finance, and Management of Human Resources.
- The student will learn the role of a manager and skills required by a manager for the four tasks—Planning, Leading, Organizing and Controlling.
- The student will learn Management Information Systems (MIS) and the need for MIS, differentiates between data and information and identify the information requirements in the four functions of Marketing, Production, Finance and Human Resources.
